To provide a life flow line design method and design tool that enable residence schedule persons to actively involve in a housing design, and achieve "comfortable lives" by considering life flow lines of the residence schedule person.SOLUTION: A life flow line design tool comprises a preparation step that is conducted prior to a housing basic design, and preparing a plurality of housing space constitutions consisting of housing, and a basic layer in which the housing space constitution is arranged; a housing space constitution arrangement step of arranging the housing space constitution in the basic layer; and a life flow line drawing step of drawing life flow lines expected to move between the housing space constitutions. A design is conducted prior to the housing basic design, and thus, the basic design can be made on the assumption of the life flow line.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
