To provide a gear device which has enhanced flexibility of being fitted to a mating machine.SOLUTION: A series of a gear device comprises a first gear device 100 and a second gear device. The first gear device 100 and the second gear device are deflection-engagement type gear devices. In the first gear device 100, the number of teeth of a first internal gear 140 is larger than the number of teeth of a second internal gear 150, and decelerated rotation is output from the second internal gear 150, and in the second gear device, the number of teeth of the second internal gear is larger than the number of teeth of the first internal gear, and decelerated rotation is output from the first internal gear. An external gear 130 has a first outer tooth part 132 and a second outer tooth part 134, and a tooth trace correction amount of the first outer tooth part 132 is larger than a tooth trace correction amount of the second outer tooth part 134. The external gear 130 is common in use between the first gear device 100 and the second gear device. In the first gear device 100, the first outer tooth part 132 is assembled to the second internal gear 150 so as to be engaged therewith, and in the second gear device, the first outer tooth part is assembled to the first internal gear so as to be engaged therewith.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
