To provide a production method for a hypercomplex alloy compound capable of accurately controlling an alloy composition, the produced hypercomplex alloy compound, a method for production of an ink using the above compound, and to provide a thin film absorption layer using the ink.SOLUTION: A production method for a hypercomplex alloy compound includes: a step of homogeneously blending a melt-waiting material for producing the above alloy compound including copper, indium, gallium and selenium, placing the blend material in the high-temperature synthesis area of a vacuum vessel, and placing a sublimation-waiting material for producing the above compound in the low-temperature evaporation area of the vacuum vessel; a step of heating a melt-waiting material in the high-temperature synthesis area to a melting state to form a molten material; and a step of heating the sublimation-waiting material in the low-temperature evaporation area to a gaseous state to react the gas material after sublimation with the molten material. There are also provided the produced hypercomplex alloy compound, a method for producing an ink using the above compound, the produced hypercomplex alloy compound ink, a production method for a thin film absorption layer using the above compound ink, and the above absorption layer produced by the compound.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
