To ensure that the three-dimensional coordinates of a reflection prism obtained by a survey function and the three-dimensional coordinates of the vertex of a polyhedron of processed point group data obtained by a laser scanner function are matched in measurement by a surveying instrument having the survey function and the laser scanner function.SOLUTION: Provided is a reflection prism used together with a surveying instrument having a survey function and a laser scanner function and provided in a measurement object, the reflection prism being arranged so that the vertex position of the measurement object and the optical center position of the prism are matched or considered to be matched.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
