PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set a menu which can be called by any operation, at a user side.SOLUTION: A programmable display comprises: a part processing section 22 for calling and processing a specific function allocated to a specific functional part stored in a part setting storage section 41 in accordance with a discrimination that a touch operation is performed on the functional part, due to a part discrimination section 14; a page setting storage section 43 for storing a setting content for the unit of a page while defining one screen on which one or more functional components are disposed, to be displayed on a display screen as a page; a specific operation setting storage section 42 for storing allocatable specific operation processing to be executed when a touch operation is performed on a non-part area NPA other than a part area where functional parts are disposed on the display screen; and a non-part processing section 24 for calling and processing a specific function allocated to the non-part area NPA stored in the specific operation setting storage section 42 according to a discrimination that a touch operation is performed on the non-part area NPA, due to the component discrimination section 14.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
