To provide a human body detection device improved in detection accuracy of a human body with an infrared sensor.SOLUTION: The human body detection device comprises an acquisition unit for acquiring a signal based on output of an infrared sensor which has a field of view on the near side and the depth side in a lower space of a desk, an estimation unit for estimating a characteristic of secular change of the signal based on output of the infrared sensor and a first determination unit for determining whether an infrared radiator within a field of view of the infrared sensor is a human body or not on the basis of the characteristic.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
