PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily confirm whether or not a prohibited medicine is contained in a medical product.SOLUTION: A prohibited medicine detection system 1 is configured so that: a detection request transmission part 11b of a terminal 10 transmits a prohibited medicine detection request including information which indicates a general medical product, to a server. A detection result reception part 11c receives a detection result from a medical product DB server 20, and a detection result presentation part 11d outputs the detection result. In the medical product DB server 20, the medical product DB 20A associates and stores information indicating plural general medical products, and substances corresponding to prohibited medicines and included in the general medical product. A database management part 21b searches the medical product DB 20A based on the information indicating the general medical products, and determines whether or not the general medical products are associated with the substances corresponding to the prohibited medicines. A detection result transmission part 21d transmits the detection result of the prohibited medicine to the terminal 10, based on the determination result.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
