To provide a power generation system evaluation method capable of proposing an optimal combination of a storage battery capacity and a solar power generation device capacity for an expected power consumption amount of a building.SOLUTION: A power generation system evaluation method for evaluating the optimality of a combination of a solar panel capacity and a storage battery capacity, comprises a capacity condition input step (S101) of inputting a solar panel capacity and a storage battery capacity to be evaluated, an electric power condition input step (S104) of creating and inputting the power consumption amount of a house to be evaluated, the charged amount and the charging/discharging amount of a storage battery 2 in the house, and an expected amount (model data) of an electricity selling amount of the house, obtaining (S105) the electricity self-sufficient rate of the model data, the electricity selling rate of the model data, and an operating rate which is the rate of the model data of a discharging amount in the storage battery capacity, on the basis of the inputted conditions, and an evaluation value calculation step (S106) of further obtaining an evaluation value of the optimality on the basis of the electricity self-sufficient rate, the electricity selling rate, and the operating rate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
