To provide a reboot instruction notification device capable of easily and swiftly restoring communication of a home gateway.SOLUTION: A reboot instruction notification device 10 is configured so as to, when detecting reboot of an ER 20, identify a user under the ER 20 and acquire a piece of information relevant to the user. The reboot instruction notification device 10 is configured to instruct to reboot of an HGW 80 to a user's mobile terminal 70 owned by a user or an HGW 80 installed in a home of the user via a mobile network by using the information relevant to the acquired user.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
