PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for manufacturing a glass roll, capable of coping with the breaking of glass foil at a position of a pair of tension rollers.SOLUTION: An apparatus for manufacturing a glass roll comprises: a heat treatment furnace for heat-treating glass foil 2 molded while being conveyed in a predetermined direction; a pair of tension rollers 30 sandwiching and feeding the glass foil 2 conveyed from the heat treatment furnace; a winder for cylindrically winding the glass foil 2 fed from the pair of tension rollers 30; a resin film charging device 70 for charging a resin film 4; and a guide member 80 feeding the charged resin film 4 toward between the pair of tension rollers 30.
