To provide a gross profit calculating apparatus which associates purchase data and sales data by commodity-based transaction identification data to thereby set a purchase unit price included in the purchase data in the sales data as a sales cost unit price and which can automatically calculate a gross profit in an individual transaction unit related to a commodity, and to provide a gross profit calculating method and a gross profit calculating program.SOLUTION: A purchase unit price included in purchase data is set as a sales cost unit price, which is a unit price of a sales cost, in sales data including commodity-based transaction identification data same as the commodity-based transaction identification data included in the purchase data. The gross profit in an individual transaction unit related to a commodity is calculated by subtracting an amount obtained by multiplying a sales quantity included in the sales data with the sales cost unit price included in the sales data from the sales amount included in the sales data on the basis of the sales data after the purchase unit price is set as the sales cost unit price.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
