PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce labor required in performing printing in a printer, compared with a case where a printer is changed to have the configuration of a print mechanism required for printing.;SOLUTION: In a workflow server 10, an operation receiving unit 25 receives print instruction information for instructing printing in a printer to a DFE 40; a receiving unit 22 acquires change schedule information indicating a schedule to change the configuration of a print mechanism included in the printer; a transmission unit 21 transmits the print instruction information to the DFE 40 such that in the change schedule indicated in the change schedule information, printing is performed in a first time during which the printer has the configuration of the print mechanism required for printing.
