To provide a medical image support apparatus in which the deviation of a pixel value due to offset calibration is reflected to ROI information, and thereby the concern of obstruction of doctor's precise diagnostic imaging is reduced.SOLUTION: A client terminal 80 for image detection engineers appends offset calibration information in the DICOM file where medical images are put in when image detection work is finished, and thereafter, the DICOM file is stored in PACS 70. A diagnostic reading medical client terminal 90 acquires the DICOM file from the PACS 70, measures a pixel value of the medical image being put in the acquired DICOM file, and thereby creates ROI information. The client terminal 90 also calibrates the medical image being put in the acquired DICOM file according to offset calibration information in the same DICOM file, and displays the medical image after the calibration to a sub-monitor.
