PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of quickly and accurately analyzing trace elements in coal.SOLUTION: A method for analyzing trace elements in coal includes: a step S1 of adding water to pulverized graphite and coal ash standard substance, mixing and molding the mixture in a tablet shape, and drying the mixture to make a coal standard sample; a step S2 of creating a calibration curve between concentration of trace elements in the coal standard sample and intensity of fluorescent X-ray with carbon concentration as a parameter, by using the coal standard sample; and step S3 of acquiring carbon concentration in coal, analyzing coal by a fluorescent X-ray analysis method, and acquiring concentration of trace elements in coal by a calibration curve method.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
