PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous ink set capable of manufacturing a printed matter having an aqueous ink reception layer and an aqueous ink layer which are thin and stable on a recording medium simply and continuously.SOLUTION: There is provided an ink composition for aqueous ink reception layer containing a resin, a solvent and an acidic component which is at least one selected from an acid with a pKa value of 1 to 6 and an anhydride thereof or derivatives and salts of these compounds (a) and/or at least one of compounds (b) having an acid value of 1 mgKOH/g or more.SELECTED DRAWING: None
