PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an activated sludge waste water treatment method and facility which can reduce ozone consumption to a very small level, and enable high efficient waste water treatment and can reduce the amount of generated surplus sludge even though precise ozone treatment operation control in conjunction with waste water treatment is not required.SOLUTION: An ozone culture method for microorganisms, an activated sludge waste water treatment method, and a waste water treatment facility with an ozone culture tank for performing these methods comprise a process of culturing microorganisms in activated sludge that includes the steps of: taking out a culture containing microorganisms in activated sludge from an activated sludge waste water treatment system including a biological treatment tank and supplying the culture to an ozone culture tank; supplying ozone and oxygen to the ozone culture tank and culturing the microorganisms in the culture to obtain an ozone culture; and taking out the ozone culture from the ozone culture tank and supplying it to the biological treatment tank. The amount of the culture in the ozone culture tank is controlled to be in a range from 1/350 to 1/10 in volume with respect to the liquid amount in the biological treatment tank.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
