PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a software writing tool which does not require a complicated mechanism such as a trigger switch or the like.SOLUTION: A software writing tool 100 comprises: a contact probe 110 which is connected to a CPU and comes into contact with a data communication terminal formed on a substrate; a first contact detection probe 120A and a second contact detection probe 120B which come into contact with a first ground point and a second ground point formed on the substrate, respectively; and a control unit which controls writing of a piece of software to a memory in the CPU, and detects contact and conduction of the first contact detection probe 120A and the second contact detection probe 120B with and to the first ground point and the second ground point, respectively. When detecting the contact and conduction of the first contact detection probe 120A and the second contact detection probe 120B with and to the first ground point and the second ground point, respectively, the control unit outputs a writing start trigger signal to a computer for work.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
