PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laughing promotion program and a laughing promotion device which promote laughing by providing a chance of laughing.SOLUTION: A laughing promotion program of one aspect of the invention causes a computer to calculate smile degree data based on face image data, determine propriety of reproduction of laughter data based on the smile degree data, and if it is determined that the laughter data is reproduced, reproduce the laughter data. A laughing promotion device of another aspect of the invention comprises: an imaging device; a speaker; and an information processor for controlling the imaging device and the speaker. The information processor comprises: a smile degree data calculation part for calculating smile degree data, based on the face image data; a laughing propriety determination part for performing determination of propriety of reproduction of the laughter data, based on the smile degree data; and a laughter reproduction part for reproducing the laughter data, if it is determined that the laughter data is reproduced.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
