This invention deals with a process of synthesis of barium hexaferrite (bafe12o19) and strontium hexaferrite (srfe12o19) in the form of powders and solids using directly, and only, minerals of the type: hematite, magnetite, barite and celestitis. The average size of the flue -12o19 and produced srfe1219 particles may vary between 20 -nm and 5 -ions. The magnetic regimes of these obtained materials may vary between monodomain and multidomium according to the size and shape of the particles.
