This invention deals with a process of synthesis of barium hexaferrite (bafe12o19) and strontium hexaferrite (srfe12o19) in the form of powders and solids using directly, and only, minerals of the type: hematite, magnetite, barite and celestitis. The average size of the flue -12o19 and produced srfe1219 particles may vary between 20 -nm and 5 -ions. The magnetic regimes of these obtained materials may vary between monodomain and multidomium according to the size and shape of the particles. The coercive field (hc),In the monodomain scheme, it reached maximum values for HC = 4600 and for breath /12o19 and HC = 5000 and for SrFe12O19. The maximum value of the ratio between the remanent magnetization and saturation magnetization (Mr /ms) was 0,57.
