CALIBRATION METHODS FOR MULTIPLE VARIETY GRAIN METERS AND RELATED SYSTEMS

This is a calibration method for a multi-variety grain meter that includes terminating a grain supply to a grain meter and subsequently operating the grain meter to unload grain therein. Additionally, upon termination of grain delivery to the grain meter, the method may include monitoring a parameter indicative of how many grains remain within the grain pool based on data received from a first sensor. The method may also include monitoring a grain meter operation based on data received from a second sensor to identify the occurrence of a starvation event for the grain meter and determining a target value for the monitored parameter based on the grain sensor. at least in part, a defined starvation interval between the termination of grain delivery to the grain meter and the occurrence of the starvation event.
