connecting a column / beam connection to a building frame, including an elongated column having faces joining through corners, an elongated beam having one end, and a full-time nodal connection connecting the beam end to the column solely through a pair of adjacent near corners in the column, with the beam end thus connected, being spaced from the column face which lies between said pair of corners. The connection itself is characterized by (a) several spacers joined to and extending out of the corners of the column at a selected, common elevation located along the length of the column, and (b) a collar at halo shape joined via a full seat gravity locking momentum interface connection to each of the spacers, and thereby joined, spaced by the column face spacers that lie between the corners of the column.
