METHOD FOR ORAL CONTRACEPTION IN WOMEN, METHOD FOR PREVENTION OF UNDESIRABLE HAEMORRHAGE DURING ORAL CONTRACEPTION IN WOMEN AND PHARMACEUTICAL KIT FOR USE IN THESE METHODS

The invention relates to methods for oral contraception in women and for prevention of undesirable haemorrhage during oral contraception in women that include monophase, continuous, cyclic administration scheme of hormonal contraceptive designed for haemorrhage control, as well as a respective pharmaceutical kit. Therein, oral contraceptive comprises 20 μg ethinyl estradiol and 3 mg drospirenone; it is taken daily during the first period of 24-day duration, and then during the second period of maximum 96-day duration, a woman may (a) initiate the break including 3 to 6 days, wherein the oral contraceptive is discontinued; or (b) if such a break was not initiated during said 96-day maximum, said woman initiate the break including 3 to 6 days at the end of 96-day period. After said break, administration of said oral contraceptive is continued, according to the above scheme of taking/discontinuation (1). Therein, a woman initiates said break in case if out-of-order haemorrhage or minor bloody discharge is observed during 3 successive days within said second period.
