The invention relates to a handy mechanism which is liable to calculate the length of the square’s side the surface of which is equal or approximately equal to a given-radius cycle. In all its forms the above mechanism (circle-square-triangle meter) is a ruler of two different scales: the scale of the measuring system in force and the scale of another measuring system having as measuring unit the side of the square with which the in-force measuring system is found in a precise proportional relation.
