Tailorablepartof a manholeor an inspectionshafthaving a cylindrical wall part with an axial direction and a first diametrical dimension, the tailorable part having a transitionary wall part that narrows from the first diametrical dimension, the transitionary wall part has at its outer circumference at least one structure configured for providing stability toa saw when a part of the transitionary part is sawn off in a direction transverse to the axial direction, so as to allow for tailoring the tailorable part for connection toa lower part of a manhole or inspection shaft that has a cylindrical wall part with a second diametrical dimension which is smaller than the first diametrical dimension.
