The invention relates to a basic module (M 1, M 2, M 3, M 4), a beam (14, 24) and a motor path for children. The module has a side portion having at least one step (9) for receiving an end region (20, 27) of a beam (14, 24), the surface of at least one of the walking plane and flanks being inclined or curved for the step to be a means of blocking said end region (20, 27). The beam (14, 24) is an elongated element having two end regions (20, 27) each of complementary shape to that of the steps (9) to be able to be engaged and thus lock in translation the beam (14, 24) compared to the basic module (M 1, M 2, M 3, M 4).
