The invention relates to a method of analyzing colloidal suspensions by means of ultrasonic spectroscopy. According to the invention, the method uses impulses with different spectral content, generated by broad-band transducers, by applying the pulse-echo technique, the spectral characteristics being obtained by Fast Fourier Transformation (FFT) analysis of the echo signals received from the base of a measuring cell containing the analyzed solution, the echoes generated in distilled water being the reference spectrum of this analysis.
