A method for producing a removable wipe or hygienic tissue comprising a nonwoven material interwoven hydraulically impregnated with a wetting composition, wherein said method comprises the steps of: - drying - wetting - or foaming a fibrous web (14) in a mobile support (10), wherein said mobile support (10) is a hydro-entanglement fabric, comprising a plurality of elongate protruding elements (17) protruding above the plane of the mobile support (10), - hydro-interlacing said fibrous web in a hydro-entanglement station (15) to form a hydro-entangled nonwoven web (19), - causing weakening in the hydro-entangled web during said hydro-entanglement by means of said protruding elements (17).
