Procedure for the detection and early serotyping of the dengue virus

Procedure to reveal in vitro an infection by a dengue virus in an individual that comprises the steps of: contacting a blood sample of the individual with a specific ligand of the NS1 protein of said dengue virus to capture the NS1 protein, if it is present in the blood sample, said ligand being immobilized on a solid support, demonstrate the presence of the NS1 protein by means of a mass spectrometry reading, and if the NS1 protein is evidenced, conclude that the individual has been infected by the dengue virus.
