INTELLIGENT, FLEXIBLE PROTECTION DEVICE FOR STEEL ARCH IN CASE OF TUNNEL ROCKFALL COLLAPSE

Disclosed is an intelligent, flexible protection device for a steel arch in case of a tunnel rockfall collapse, the device comprising an arch body system and a flexible protection system. The arch body system comprises an arched rigid high-strength steel frame (1) and a base. The flexible protection system comprises two parallel support rods (3) disposed on the rigid high-strength steel frame along an arc direction of the arch, and guiding rods are arranged at intervals between the two support rods, the guiding rods being connected to the support rods via connection members. Meanwhile, a plurality of rolling shafts (5) are disposed between two adjacent two-way guiding rods, and are perpendicular to the axial direction of the two-way guiding rods and connected to the two-way guiding rods, and flexible rollers (2) are fitted over the rolling shafts. When the falling rock with a great impact force rolls down, part of the impact kinetic energy is offset by the deformation of the flexible rollers, and is then transformed to deformation potential energy, and the resilience force generated after the deformation of the flexible rollers can react to the falling rock, which greatly reduces the damage of the falling rock to the arch during the collapse.
