METHOD AND DEVICE FOR ACQUIRING ADDRESS OF LOCAL DOMAIN NAME SERVER AND AUTHORITATIVE NAME SERVER

A method and a device for acquiring the address of a local domain name server (DNS) and an authoritative name server, used for solving the problem in the prior art that a client cannot determine the IP address of the local DNS server. The method comprises: receiving a domain name resolution request; determining whether the type of the domain name resolution request is an address detection type; when the type of the domain name resolution request is the address detection type, extracting the IP address of a first local domain name server from the domain name resolution request, the first local domain name server being a domain name server for sending the domain name resolution request to the authoritative name server; and sending a response message for responding to the domain name resolution request, the response message including the IP address of the first local domain name server.
