Disclosed are an unmanned aerial vehicle control system and realization method, a ground control device and a relay station. The unmanned aerial vehicle control system comprises an unmanned aerial vehicle and a ground control device, and further comprises one or more relay stations communicatively connected to the ground control device through a local area network or the Internet. The ground control device is used for sending a control instruction to control the unmanned aerial vehicle; and the relay station is used for, when a pre-set condition is satisfied, receiving the control instruction sent by the ground control device and sending same to the unmanned aerial vehicle. In the embodiments of the present invention, by adding a relay station, the distance of remote control and image transmission between an unmanned aerial vehicle and a ground control end is greatly increased; the unmanned aerial vehicle control system is flexible in networking, and the configuration thereof is optional, and can have an ad-hoc network and can also access a public network; a delay can be controlled under the ad-hoc network mode, and there is strong instantaneity, ensuring the instantaneity and stability of remote control and image transmission.
