One deficiency however, is the length of time, and/or amount of data that needs to be collected in order to train a machine. Human experts can help speed up the time to learn by providing hints from their experience or through simple common sense. Today these hints not only requires an understanding of artificial intelligence and machine learning programming, but also an understanding of the system that is being learnt.
