The shuttle (16) comprises a chassis (19), a motor, wheels (20), a vertically displaceable goods support platform (21), and a mechanism for lifting and lowering the platform (21). The mechanism for lifting and lowering the platform (21) comprises a lift shaft with eccentric lift shaft portions (23, 24) for horizontally displacing arms (25, 26) connected to the lift shaft and thereby rotating lift tubes (29, 30) connected to the arms (25, 26) and arranged pivotably around wheel shafts (34, 35) of the shuttle (16) to also rotate lift elements (31) extending radially from the lift tubes (29, 30) for lifting and lowering the platform (21).
