This hydroponics apparatus is provided with: a lid member (14) that forms the upper portion of a cultivation planter (10); and a lid supporting member (10C) that supports the lid member (14) from therebelow and is detachably connected to a pan (10B). The lid member (14) supports a predetermined number of rootstocks of a plant of the same type (28_P1, 28_P2, 28_P3, 28_P4, 28_P5, ... 28_Pn) such that the respective leading end sections (portions including root caps and root apical meristems) (28b) of the main roots (28a) thereof are soaked in a nutrient liquid (LQ1) in the pan (10B).
