This brain image analysis apparatus comprises: a first brain image acquisition unit that acquires first brain images for each of a first number of first subjects, acquired by a first tomographic imaging apparatus; an extraction unit that extracts a plurality of second subject sets, each of which includes the first number of second subjects having identical or similar biological characteristics to the first number of first subjects, from a plurality of second subjects imaged by the second tomographic imaging apparatus; a second brain image acquisition unit that acquires a second brain image of each second subject acquired by the second tomographic imaging apparatus; a comparison unit which compares the first number of first brain images and the first number of second brain images for each second subject set; a correction parameter calculation unit that calculates correction parameters on the basis of comparison results; and a correction unit which uses the correction parameters to correct the image based on the brain images acquired by the second tomographic imaging apparatus.
