Provided are a method, apparatus and system for sending feedback response information and a method, apparatus and system for receiving feedback response information, which relate to the field of communications. The sending method comprises: a terminal determining a first number of bits, wherein the first number of bits is the maximum number of bits of feedback response information transmitted by means of a target uplink channel, and the target uplink channel is used for transmitting feedback response information corresponding to at least two component carriers; when the number of bits of feedback response information to be transmitted is greater than the first number of bits, compressing feedback response information corresponding to a target component carrier in the at least two component carriers to obtain compressed feedback response information; and sending the compressed feedback response information by means of the target uplink channel. Since the number of bits of compressed feedback response information is not greater than a first number of bits, a terminal can use a limited number of bits to send, in one go, feedback response information of at least two aggregated component carriers to an access network device.
