The invention relates to a floating magnetic-flow roller for increasing the efficiency of conveyor belts by reducing the wear of materials, mainly in the mining industry, which includes: a cylindrical containing case (1); a fixed central shaft (2); and an upper cylindrical cover (3) with cavities for accommodating magnets (8a), the covers being connected and fixed to structural cylinders (4) that support an upper cylindrical perimeter ring (5a) with cavities for accommodating magnets (10a) and a lower cylindrical perimeter ring (5b) with cavities for accommodating magnets (10c). The bottom of the fixed shaft (2) is contained by a lower cylindrical cover (6) with cavities for accommodating magnets (8b), the central shaft (2) including an upper cylinder (7a) fixed to said shaft (2), with a cavity for accommodating magnets (8b), and a lower cylinder (7b) which is also fixed to the shaft (2) and has a cavity for accommodating magnets (8c). The magnets closest to the shaft (2) and actuated longitudinally with respect to said same are the magnet (8a), the magnet (8b), the magnet (8c) and the magnet (8d). The roller includes an upper retaining base ring (9a) with a cavity for accommodating magnets (10b) and a lower retaining base ring (9b) with a cavity for accommodating magnets (10d). The magnets actuated perpendicularly with respect to the shaft (2) are the upper outer magnet (10a) contained in the upper cylindrical perimeter ring (5a), the upper inner magnet (10b) contained in the upper retaining base ring (9a), the lower outer magnet (10c) contained in the lower retaining perimeter ring (5b) and the lower inner magnet (10d) contained in the lower retaining base ring (9b).
