The invention relates to a motor vehicle auxiliary unit (10) having a multi-part housing arrangement (15). An electric drive motor (14) is provided in a first housing part and a unit mechanism (12) which is driven by the drive motor (14) and conveys fluid is provided in a second housing part (10), and the fluid can flow through the first housing part (6). The drive motor (8) has a stator element (22) having motor coils (30) and an inner rotor element (14) which is connected for conjoint rotation to a drive shaft (18), the drive shaft (18) being connected for conjoint rotation to a conveying element (13) of the unit mechanism (12). The stator element (22) has a stator inner face (26) directed towards the inner rotor element (14) and a stator outer face (28) directed towards the first housing part, the first housing part (6) being connected to the second housing part (10) via sealing faces (32, 34, 36, 38). The stator outer face (28) is formed from peripheral stator outer face parts (46, 48) which are alternately recessed and protruding in such a way that individual stator outer face parts (46) form bearing faces for radial and rotational fixing of the stator element (22) in the first housing part (6) and between the bearing faces (46) fluid channels (44) are formed which are delimited by the first housing part (6) and the stator outer face (28).
