Provided are bacteroides fragilis CCFM1020 for relieving endotoxin infection, and an application thereof. The bacteroides fragilis has low immunogenicity, and can reduce the content of proinflammatory factors in the blood of a host infected with endotoxin, increase the concentration of anti-inflammatory factors, increase the number of Foxp3+ regulatory T cells, and stabilize the composition of intestinal flora. Also provided is a pharmaceutical composition comprising the bacteroides fragilis CCFM1020 for relieving endotoxin infection.
