New Cultivar of Camellia sinensis Method for Breeding the Same and Method for Cultivating the Same

The present invention relates to a new cultivar of Camellia sinensis, a method for breeding the same, and a method for cultivating the same. More specifically, the present invention relates to a new cultivar of Camellia sinensis (Hereinafter referred to as the new cultivar of Camellia sinensis) which is provided by a new method for breeding the same, and a new method for cultivating the same. The new cultivar of Camellia sinensis produced by the new method for breeding, contains a high content of epigallocatechin-3-O-(3-O-methyl) gallate; EGCG3″Me; 3″-O-Me-EGCG. The new cultivar of Camellia sinensis shows high palatability when being processed into semi-fermented tea, fermented tea, and post-fermented tea.
