The present invention provides a composition for a fireproof electric wire cover and a method for manufacturing a fireproof electric wire cover and electric wire using the same. The composition contains: silicone rubber paste having solid silicone rubber which includes first silicone rubber and second silicone rubber with degree of flexibility higher than that of the first silicone rubber, a plasticizer, and expanded graphite; and a curing agent. The curing agent includes: a first curing agent having bis (2,4-dichlorobenzoyl) peroxide and silicone oil; and a second curing agent having silica, tetramethyl tetravinyl cyclotetrasiloxane, octamethylcyclotetrasiloxane, a curing retarder, and a platinum catalyst. Therefore, fire resistance and tear strength are enhanced and the composition can be easily manufactured into a desired shaped fireproof electric wire cover.
