Disclosed are a multi-relay device and a method for transmitting a file between networks using the multi-relay device which can smoothly operate even if the number of users is increased while transmitting and receiving data through communication between two user terminals in different networks. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the method for transmitting a file between networks using the multi-relay device comprises the steps of: transmitting a file request to a second relay device by a second user terminal connected to the second relay device to transmit a file to the second user terminal from a first user terminal; transmitting a relay request to a first relay device connecting to the first user terminal by the second relay device according to the file request; providing the file to the second relay device by the first user terminal according to a relay of the first relay device by transmitting an IP address of the second relay device while transmitting the relay request to the first relay device by the second relay device; and providing the received file to the second user terminal by the second relay device.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2019
