A training data generating apparatus according to one embodiment can detect data that is not suitable for learning a student model corresponding to a teacher model from among output data output by the teacher model learned in advance in response to input data. The training data generating apparatus can change output data inappropriate for training the student model corresponding to the teacher model to an ignore value such that the inappropriate output data is not used to train the student model. In addition, the training data generating apparatus can change output data appropriate for training the student model such that the student model outputs an improved result in comparison with output data of the teacher model.
