Differentiation of cortical neurons from human pluripotent stem cells

The subject matter disclosed herein provides methods of inducing in vitro differentiation of human stem cells into cortical neurons and cortical neurons produced by such methods. The subject matter disclosed herein also provides the use of this cortical neuron for the treatment of neurodegenerative CNS disorders.
