A depth map stitching method for stereo images comprises: a depth map generating step of generating depth maps by receiving stereo images from a plurality of stereo cameras; a depth map adjusting step of adjusting each of the depth maps on a virtual space; and a depth map stitching step of stitching the depth maps by calculating a depth of a determined object after determining the object based on a segment present in each of the depth maps. Accordingly, the depth map stitching method for stereo images can provide a technology which can match segments appeared in an area overlapping the depth maps, and can detect an overlapping type of the matched segments so as to integrate the segments matched by the detected overlapping type as a segment having one depth value.
