The present invention relates to a method for managing a maritime service wanted by a service provider in a terrestrial environment, to transfer service metadata to a service user without interrupting communications, and a method for enabling a service user to inquire metadata of a maritime service through a maritime messaging service (MMS) in a maritime environment. According to the present invention, a method for enabling a service user to inquire metadata of a maritime service from a maritime service registry system in a maritime environment comprises the steps of a maritime service registry system of: receiving a service metadata request message of the service user from a service user client, wherein the service metadata request message of the service user includes location information of a ship boarding the service user thereon; identifying the service metadata request message of the service user received through MMS communications; inquiring the service metadata correct the identified service metadata request message to a maritime service registry database; and transferring the service metadata corresponding to the identified service metadata request message to the user client through the MMS communications.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2019
