The present invention relates to a fuel economy calculation system and a method for a working machine, wherein the system comprises: a torque calculation unit for calculating consumed torque; a fuel efficiency calculation unit for calculating fuel efficiency from a fuel efficiency map using the consumed torque and the number of rotation of an engine; a correction coefficient setting unit for setting a correction coefficient for fuel efficiency for each work; a work discrimination unit for discriminating current work; and a fuel efficiency correction unit for correcting calculated fuel efficiency using the correction coefficient corresponding to the current work.
