The present invention relates to a digital detox program and a digital detox service providing method for limiting use of a mobile terminal and calculating a harmful score of an application installed in the mobile terminal. According embodiments of the present invention, a service providing method for controlling a first mobile terminal by using the first mobile terminal, a second mobile terminal associated with the first mobile terminal, and a server comprises the steps of: enabling a first mobile application executed in the first mobile terminal to extract an identifier of a second mobile application installed in the first mobile terminal; enabling the first mobile application to transmit the extracted identifier to the server; enabling the server to determine whether the second mobile application is an application registered in a mobile application market by using the transmitted identifier; when the second mobile application is the mobile application registered in the mobile application market, enabling the server to collect user reviews for the second mobile application from the mobile application market; enabling the server to classify the collected user reviews into at least one harmful category; enabling the server to generate a harmful score of the second mobile application based on a result of the classification; and enabling the server to transmit the generated harmful score to the second mobile terminal.
