Provided are an apparatus and method for analyzing tooth and a jaw structure of a patient. The apparatus comprises: a panoramic photograph acquiring unit for acquiring a tooth panoramic photograph of a patient from a dental radiological apparatus; a cephalometric radiography acquisition unit for acquiring a cephalometric radiograph of the patient from the dental radiological apparatus; a structure recognition unit for recognizing a structure of an oral cavity and a head and neck of the patient from the acquired tooth panoramic photograph of the patient or the cephalometric radiograph of the patient; a measurement point display unit for displaying a plurality of measurement points based on the recognized structure of the oral cavity and the head and neck of the patient; a measuring point connection unit for measuring the length, diameter, and angle by connecting the plurality of measured points which are displayed; and a result grasping unit for analyzing the measured length, diameter, and angle to grasp the result of an occlusal state according to positions of the tooth and jaw as a result of an implant placement result of the patient.
