The present invention relates to a fish farm buoy connecting rod and a manufacturing method thereof. The manufacturing method of the present invention comprises: a raw material melting and extruding step (S1 step); a molding step (S2 step); a cooling step (S3 step); a cutting step (S4 step) of cutting a cooled cylindrical pipe (10) to a set length; and a coating step (S5 step) of coating the surface of a cut cylindrical pipe (10) with epoxy. The fish farm buoy connecting rod of the present invention includes: a cylindrical pipe (10) in which a hollow part is formed; a coating body (20) which is coated on the outer surface of the cylindrical pipe (10); and caps (30, 30′) which are fixedly inserted into both end portions of the cylindrical pipe (10). Therefore, the present invention enables a farmed marine product to be hygienically collected and enables the fish farm buoy connecting rod to be used stably and semi-permanently for a long period of time by forming a connecting rod of a synthetic resin pipe having the hollow part formed therein, coating epoxy on the surface of the pipe, and clogging both ends of the pipe with the caps, thereby obtaining a fish farm buoy connecting rod which is solid without bending or damage due to strong wave and prevents impurities from penetrating into the hollow part in the pipe. Further, the present invention is a useful invention having a particular advantage of excellent economic efficiency reducing weight of the product while lowering price of the product by forming the hollow part in the pipe, thereby minimizing raw material required in manufacturing of the product.
